Carole Lazenby is the attorney and spokeswoman for Dr. Antonia Simone, the discoverer of the afterlife. But don’t call her an avatar.
“I really hate that. I’m not an avatar, and with apologies to those people who do act as avatars, I think it’s damn creepy. I work for Dr. Simone and as hard as it may be to believe, I am her friend.”
Why hard to believe? “She is a self-confessed murderer. She has political and ethical views that I find, well, different from mine. But for all that, I work with her constantly and I know how much of her actions were motivated by the plight of her brother.”
Lazenby is a graduate of the University of Texas Law School and lives in Austin.
